Day 01 :
Camel Ride into the Golden Dunes & Night Under the Stars

Your desert adventure begins in the small village of Merzouga, right on the edge of the Sahara.
In the late afternoon, your camel guide will welcome you and help you mount your camel — an unforgettable moment as you start crossing the sweeping Erg Chebbi dunes just as the sun begins to set.

As the camels move slowly through the golden sand, you’ll watch the sky shift from orange to deep red and finally to the dark blue of desert twilight. It’s peaceful, quiet — just the sound of the wind and your camel’s steps.

After about 1½ hours, you’ll arrive at your desert camp, tucked among the dunes. You’ll be greeted with mint tea and a warm Moroccan welcome.

Dinner is served under the stars — a traditional tagine or couscous, followed by music around the campfire.
If the sky is clear (and it usually is), you can spend the evening stargazing — the Milky Way feels close enough to touch.

Sleep in a cozy nomadic-style tent, complete with comfortable bedding and the soft hush of desert silence.

Day 02 :
Sunrise & Return to Merzouga

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes — it’s a moment of pure magic as the first light paints the sand in shades of pink and gold.

After breakfast at camp, you’ll ride your camel (or take a 4x4 if you prefer) back to Merzouga village, arriving mid-morning.
Your Sahara journey ends here, full of memories — the silence, the stars, and the beauty of the desert that stays with you long after you’ve left.
