4-Day Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour

Our 4-Day Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour begins with a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, first stopping in the charming town of Ifrane—often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We then continue to the Azrou Cedar Forest, where you’ll have a chance to see the wild Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Next, we make our way to the beautiful Ziz Valley, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk among the palm groves. By late afternoon, we arrive in the Merzouga Desert, stopping at a local hotel for a refreshing glass of mint tea. From there, you’ll ride a camel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp. The evening includes a traditional dinner and live Berber music beneath the stars.

Today we will explore the remote and tranquil Ouzina desert, a hidden gem far from the usual tourist routes.

Our first stop will be at a nomad tent, where you will have the rare opportunity to learn about traditional nomadic life. These generous people appreciate acts of solidarity: items such as headache medicine, children's clothes or small toys are highly appreciated.

We will then continue to the village of Ouzina, where we will visit a traditional mud house and enjoy a delicious homemade lunch at the home of a local family, an authentic cultural experience.

In the afternoon, we will head to our accommodation at the foot of the Ouzina dunes. Here you will enjoy a quiet evening, a traditional dinner under the stars and the next morning you will wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the desert.

After witnessing a stunning sunrise over the sweeping sand dunes, we’ll begin our journey toward the dramatic Todra Gorges. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic two-hour hike through the spectacular landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by towering rock walls and lush valleys.

Later in the day, we’ll continue driving through breathtaking scenery until we reach the picturesque Dades Valley, where a cozy traditional riad awaits. You'll be welcomed with a delicious Moroccan dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

On the final day of our journey, we’ll visit one of Morocco’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites — the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This historic fortress is renowned not only for its traditional mudbrick architecture but also for serving as the backdrop to international films such as Gladiator 1 & 2, Odysse 2024, and many others.

After exploring this cinematic village, we’ll continue our drive across the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass, perched at 2,260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views along the way. By evening, we’ll arrive in the vibrant Red City of Marrakech, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
