Upon landing at Marrakech Airport, you’ll be welcomed (10-Day Morocco Tour) and transferred to your charming riad in the medina. Enjoy the first impressions of the Red City as you settle in, relax, and soak up the atmosphere of the old town before your adventure begins.
Your day begins with a relaxed morning city tour of Marrakech alongside a friendly local guide. You’ll wander through the colorful medina, visit iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace, and explore the lively souks filled with artisans and spices. After soaking up the rich history and atmosphere of the Red City, you head toward the tranquil Imlil Valley in the High Atlas Mountains. The scenic drive takes you through small Berber villages and beautiful landscapes before you settle into your accommodation for the night, ready for the mountain adventure ahead.
Your adventure begins in the mountain village of Imlil (1,740 m). After meeting your guide and muleteer, you start hiking through the Aït Mizane Valley, passing small Berber villages like Aroumd and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. The trail climbs steadily as the landscape becomes more rugged, with high cliffs and flowing streams. In the afternoon, you arrive at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m), where you enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by dramatic High Atlas peaks.
You begin the ascent early, before sunrise, following a steep and rocky trail toward the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m). As you gain elevation, the first light of dawn reveals the dramatic beauty of the High Atlas. After reaching the summit and enjoying breathtaking panoramic views stretching across the mountains and toward the distant Sahara, you descend carefully to the refuge for a well-earned rest. From there, you continue your hike down the valley to Imlil, arriving by the afternoon and completing this unforgettable two-day trek. After the descent, the journey continues toward Ouarzazate, passing through the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Our fifth day will be a special day as we are going to cross the Sahara Desert to reach our destination in Ouzina Desert. Our guide is a Desert Berber, he will show us the secrets of the Desert. Our first stop will be in Todra Gorgesthat’s before heading to the Sahara Desert. We will continue towards Tafraout Village where we will have Lunch in a local house then continue to Ouzina Desert via off-road drive, this part of the Desert is ideal for travelers who want ti escape the tourist crowds and connect with Desert nature. It’s described as the place of silence, spirituality and serenity. We will arrive our Auberge in the late afternoon.
After a delicious breakfast in the middle of the Desert, we will begin our journey by visiting a Nomad family to learn about `nomadic Berber Traditions, craft and way of life. Afterwards, we will drive to Ouzina village where will visit a traditional oven where people of the village bake their bread. Then drive to another village called Khamlia, which is inhabited by dark skinned people whose ancestors were from Sudan and other sub-Saharan countries, there where we will enjoy a performance of their traditional music and have a delicious Berber- Pizza ( it's a nomadic pizza that they bake in the hot sand) Finally, we will ride on Camel dromedaries for 40 minutes to cross the Golden Sand Dunes towards our Berber Desert Camp where we will spend the Desert night in a private and well equipped tent. Dinner and a Desert performance will be under a starry sky.
First, we will wake up early morning to witness one of the magnificent sunrises that the Merzouga Desert can offer then have breakfast in the camp. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Fez via Atlas Mountains, Azrou Cedar forest, which is inhabited by Barbarian apes and Ifran City.
Begin your day in Fes with a delightful breakfast at your Riad before diving into the enchanting Old Medina, where you'll uncover hidden treasures known only to locals. Visit the historic Alqarawiyine University, the world's oldest spiritual university, and pay your respects at the Molay Idriss Mausoleum. Admire the beauty of the Nejjarine Fountains and the tanneries, then savor a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, stroll through the famous Jewish quarter, the Mellah, and take in the impressive exterior of the Royal Palace Gate. Conclude your exploration with a visit to a renowned ceramic factory, followed by breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Medina, making for an unforgettable day filled with culture and history.
After an enriching morning in Fes, we will drive to explore the mesmerizing Blue City of Chefchaouen. As you travel through the scenic Rif Mountains, enjoy the breathtaking views of lush landscapes and charming villages along the way. Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, be enchanted by its picturesque streets adorned with vibrant blue-washed buildings, creating a serene and captivating atmosphere. Wander through the narrow alleys, browse local artisan shops, and soak in the unique blend of Moroccan and Spanish influences. Don't miss the opportunity to relax at a local café, sipping on mint tea while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This enchanting town offers a perfect conclusion to your day, filled with cultural experiences and serene beauty.
